How is this different than other fantasy websites where you can start whoever you want and win large amounts of money?
There are other copycat fantasy websites that allow you to start whoever you want and promise you even larger grand prizes. Don't be fooled, what these sites do not tell you is how many people you will be competing against. In most all cases, it is your team versus the 20,000+ teams vying for weekly and grand prizes. Every team on the website is put into one universal league. We don't agree with that. Our leagues (approx 100 teams) are large enough to award a big payout, yet small enough to give you a realistic chance of winning.

Is prize money based on or contingent upon the number of participants?
No, our prizes are determined in advance of all contests...

Is this a gambling website?
No. All the contests on this fantasy website are based on skill and meet all the legal requirements of a fantasy game or sports simulation game and therefore any given season is not considered to be a gambling website.

Is this legal?
It definitely is. The rules set forth for the contests on any given season meet all legal requirements.

Are there residents of states that are not allowed to win prizes?
Yes. The residents of Vermont, Maryland, Louisiana, Montana, and Iowa are not allowed to win prizes. The laws for those individual states make it to where it is not legal to award prizes to residents of those states.

What are some tips for winning?
To increase your chances of winning you should have a couple of teams in each league that way you can vary your picks and increase the likelihood of winning the weekly cash and end of season cash.

Is there a draft, waiver wire, trades, or playoffs?
No. Every week you start or submit new players based on who you think will do the best for that given week. You must decide which players have been hot and which have been cold. There is no need for a draft, waiver wire, or trades. There is not a playoffs because every team is in it until the end.

So teams are allowed to start the same players?
Yes, if the two teams happen to agree on the same QB, RB's, WR's, TE, DST, and K for every week, which isn't likely to happen since most owners will start players based on how hot they have been and/or who they are playing. Some owners may also choose to start their favorite players, however over the course of 17 weeks every team is guaranteed to have a different starting lineup.

Is it better this way?
We definitely think so. You don't have to worry about your QB having a season ending injury and ruining your team. You don't have to worry about your star player having a bye week. You don't have to worry about having the last pick in your draft. You don't have to worry about that team that picks up the player off the waiver wire before you because he was higher on the waiver wire. You don't have to be angry anymore that your team scored the second highest points in the league, yet you were playing the team that scored the MOST points so you lost. You don't have to worry about a coach benching their starters in Week 16 or 17 because the team clinched a playoff spot. You don't have to worry about starting out 0-4 and having your hopes for the playoffs end a quarter of the way through the NFL season because you always have a chance to win a prize EVERY week.

What about injuries?
There is no need to worry about injuries because you can start new players every week.

How do I win?
Every week the players you select will be given points based on their production. Every week these points will be added to the following weeks points and a weekly leaderboard will be made. At the end week 17, whoever is on top of the leaderboard will win 1st place and the top prize. There are also prizes given for 2nd place, 3rd place, and a prize given to the owner that scores the most points in his league every individual week.

Why do you give out a weekly prize?
This allows the teams scattered throughout the leaderboard to continue to compete every week. So during week 17, even if you are in last place, you still have a chance to win a weekly prize and win your entry fee back.

How do I know I will receive my money?
We are a trusted American company located in America, not overseas. AnyGivenSeason.com is owned and operated by Razorhorns, LLC a registered limited liability corporation in the state of Nevada. Every winner is required to submit the prize request form at the end of the season. These forms are emailed to every winner. Please allow six to eight weeks for check processing at which point you will receive a check in the mail sent to the address listed on the prize request form. This site is based on repeat players and word of mouth so it is in our best interest to pay all of our winners. At the end of each season you can request a list of winners, by emailing us at service@anygivenseason.com

What happens in case of a tie?
The tied players will split the prize.

What are the rules?
See the rules tab for a complete list of rules.

I purchased a team but now I want refund, will I receive one?
We are happy to issue refunds as long as the season has not started. Once the season starts, no refunds will be issued.

Can I purchase another team in the same league?
Yes. Many owners like to enter the same league multiple times because it allows them to add variations to their lineups as well as compete for more prizes.

I won a prize when will I get my check?
All weekly winners and end of the season winners should wait 6-8 weeks after we receive their prize request form to receive their check.

What happens if there is a stat correction later on in the week?
All stats are deemed final on Wednesdays. This allows us to update the leaderboard faster. Our stats are taken directly from the NFL website.

I submitted my lineup but a player I picked is injured and will not play in the game what happens?
If a player in your starting lineup in injured and does not play then you will receive zero points for that player. However since you have so many players to choose from, you should try to start players that you know are healthy and probable for games.

Can I see the starting lineups for other teams in my league?
Yes, if you click on their team name on the leaderboard then you can see their starting lineups as long as they have already submitted a lineup for that week.

I forgot my password, what do I do?
E-mail us and we will issue another one.
