Nothing But Nets is a grassroots campaign aimed at preventing Malaria in Africa. An astonishing 1,000,000 people die of malaria every year. Most of the deaths occur in infants, young children, and pregnant women located on the continent of Africa. Malaria, of course, is transmitted by mosquitoes and most of these deaths could be prevented if those at risk were able to sleep under an anti-malaria bed net every night. Since most sports revolve around the use of "nets", it only seems logical that the sports world should come together and do their part to help. An anti-malaria bed net can be produced and shipped to Africa for a mere 10 dollars. At Any Given Season we are doing our part by donating part of the revenue generated from our site to the Nothing But Nets campaign as a team member of Rick Reilly's Netraisers.
